Very upsetting to see the lack of support given in job hunting. I used to have extremely positive experiences, converted in every position which makes them more money and still no job. I reached out initially 2/25 heard nothing back from anyone for months. I finally followed up with the VP in October because I used to work internally at which time there was almost an immediate movement in being interviewed. I was first met with snottiness and told I would need to retake assessments because everything is “Merit” based. I placed within 97% on all skills assessments and have a Master’s degree, did I mention I CONVERTED at EVERY position that was temp to hire? I was then placed on a temp assignment 11/25 that was supposed to last until end of year, it was crashed 2wks early and the recruiter I was working with (out of PA) had someone else communicate with me that the contract was ending. I reached out to my recruiter in the Baltimore office BEFORE the assignment was ending, as it approached its end, and after it ended. She kept telling me the position I was interested in was waiting for confirmation from the client. It’s been a month with no response on that position, BUT she did reach out with a position paying $18/hr- which is $12/hr LESS than my profile lists I will accept. I also informed her I applied for several other positions, and her response was they’re not with my team. The last short assignment 11/25-12/25 was not with her team either but I somehow received communication from them on her behalf. Had I not reached out to the VP I probably wouldn’t have received any communication and it’s been almost a year since my initial separation from my employer to be placed on a 6wk assignment. VERY POOR service!

Had a bad experience with this company in 2016 with two different recruiters. They popped up on my Facebook page the other day so I figured I'd give them another go at it. Called 800# sent to voicemail, called a local # and explained what I just said and was told folks are on the phone( SO EVERYONE IS ON THE PHONE???) I was advised to leave a message in the mailbox and someone will return my call. I LEFT A MESSAGE That was at least 6hrs ago. I GUESS EVERYONE IS STILL ON THE PHONE....NO RETURN CALL! I just called another location- no answer, no voicemail nothing it just rang. What on earth is going on here?

I initially had a disappointing experience with Robert Half, feeling ghosted by two separate recruiters. As a job seeker, this added to an already stressful time and left me questioning myself and my qualifications. I expressed my concerns in a review, hoping the agency would understand how ghosting can hurt candidates’ morale, confidence, and trust in the job search process. To their credit, Robert Half responded quickly and sincerely apologized for my experience. Lorena, a recruiter, reached out to me directly. She was not upset by my feedback; instead, she genuinely listened, showed empathy and compassion, and worked to understand my perspective. Lorena also offered a solution moving forward and even presented a potential work opportunity. Additionally, Lorena had previously provided helpful feedback on my resume, which has resulted in increased recognition and responses from other potential employers over the past week. I appreciate Robert Half’s willingness to listen and take action, and I am grateful for Lorena’s professionalism and support. Thank you to Lorena and the team for your responsiveness and for making a sincere effort to address my concerns. I hope the agency continues to prioritize communication and candidate care, as it truly makes a difference.

The sincerest of thank you's to the ladies of Robert Half - Baltimore. I was contacted right away after submitting my resume and had a Skype interview, which was very convenient. Within a week, I was asked to start immediately at a TREMENDOUS company in downtown Baltimore and within a month they offered a fulltime position with excellent benefits. I've worked with agencies in the past and certainly didn't expect such great results. Thank you again, ladies!!! Thanks to you, I'm downtown enjoying the view and free espresso!!

I had a great experience with Robert Half right from the start. My recruiter from Robert Half, Katie, was phenomenal in every aspect. She listened to all of my needs/wants for a potential job and she answered every single question efficiently within 24-48 hours whether it be by phone or email. I never was left hanging or wondering about anything. Any interviews and meetings were set up quickly and easily. Out of those interviews, I did acquire a contract role for 5 months which has now become a full-time permanent role with that company I was contracted to. Robert Half was integral in my process for being brought on as a permanent employee at that contract. They helped me with any questions I had about tweaking my resume, the interview process for that company and even in salary discussions. Overall, I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Robert Half (especially Katie). I was hesitant about a recruiting agency at first but I will absolutely recommend to colleagues going forward.
