My service dog and I came here for help with my resume and job placement. So far the humans here are pretty nice and helpful. Not very efficient with the way they make us wait and how little people they help each day.

All I can say is if you REALLY want to make a difference in your life towards the betterment. You better step up into this office and get work done. Because EVERYONE from the security officers desk onto the receptionist desk, where you’re registered and introduced to future possibilities. Then from there they’ll send you back to see a case worker who is willing to help you figure out your future plans. Be it work, trade or both. But first YOU have to want and be willing to help YOURSELF. All of the resources for jobs, vocational trades, apprenticeship programs etc. is available FREE to you. Just about anything you want in the work field to make you successful is here. You’ll find it right here at this 1 location. Today, my son, and I had the pleasure to work with Mr. Thomas. A young man who’ve done a lot to help our community at a young age. And he’s still striving to be the best that he can be for us, as well as his family. When people go above and beyond to assist you in the help that you need… That’s more than a blessing. Mr. Thomas is more than a blessing. He “along” with the staff at the Mondawmin Mall Mayors Office Of Employment And Development is totally awesome. If you’re trying to get somewhere in life. You better step in here and make your life right. Networking with the right people, who really cares, with the right resources is the only way you’ll be successful in life.

Huge waste of time and absolutely useless information. They treat you like you're an idiot and the communication is lacking or doesn't exist. In trying to email the client, they don't read your emails before responding back and it's really a rather poorly run operation. It's in an old run down mall and the whole operation is sketch with security guards everywhere. Presenter didn't seem like he was interested in being there either. Was required to go for unemployment insurance. They say be there on time but people were rolling up over an hour late and just joining for full credit. The instructors use a powerpoint and read line by line instead of paraphrasing or explaining. At one point the instructor puts up a 20 minute YouTube video and says watch this while he exits the room. I will caveat that some might get some use out of this if you're lacking a resume or don't know how to use LinkedIn, but most of the information they provide is rudimentary at best. Again, can't stress the lack of or inability to communicate by the staff on several occasions.

Who ever is on the phone I believe it’s Mrs.H did not give the correct information regarding affordable housing program. I called on Wednesday once the flyer was posted ASAP regarding the program. She says we don’t have no information about that call back Friday. So I call back Friday top in the morning just for her to say “oh all the slot have been filled”. Clearly if you aren’t in front of these ppl they will not help you. It gives ppl that aren’t able to take off just to put a name on a paper or be lied to because they often give the resources out to the ones they want. Very biased and weird.
