HP a month ago

Put in application online a month ago, stopped by the office to inquire regarding next steps to be informed of sending a text to their number ( that they never answer) to state I completed application along with my name. STILL did not hear anything for another month, ridiculous. To response to owner, I actually put in an inquiry on the website to be contacted, in which someone did last Monday via text asking if I had a valid drivers license in which I replied within a minute and stated I did… absolutely nothing once again again. That was a week ago, staffing, recruitment need to do better regarding communication/ follow ups. No one should have to complete an inquiry and stop by the office etc just to receive some type of correspondence. And yet you do all this and still nothing.

I am deeply disappointed and saddened by First Step Staffing. I sent my resume over a month ago. I completed the application and made multiple calls to staff to no avail. Very unprofessional and discouraging to men honestly looking for second chances. GO ELSEWHERE and save yourself the stress of dealing with unprofessionals.

Pretty bunked services, they have walk-in Mondays, and were only offering one job, but didn't want to let anyone full out the application there, and wanted you to comeback the same day after you filled out the application, mind you they have a lobby with 8 to 10 chairs. Waste of time really, and yet they call themselves an employment temp agency.

This staffing agency is inconvenient. The People that answer the phone are rude. Then the online application not letting you finish, so when you call and explain, they say send your name and last 4 of ssn and never communicate back.

I’ve worked for them roughly a month. Worked at 1800 flowers and my very first week I was called to work for two days for a total of 6 hours . Wasting gas and baby sitters . Even more worse , I’ve NEVER BEEN paid early or on time for that matter . I’ve had to wait until 7pm the first check 7:30 the second check and my last check? Well it’s Friday at 8:34 and still no pay or even an update on when I will get it after being promised it won’t happen again..
