The services provided by this company is 2nd to non. Abacus has provided services in this area for many years. I was unaware of their services until recently. Now I realize I missed out on a lot of opportunities . Not knowing about Abacus. If your looking for work in the Tidewater area. Save yourself some time. Check with Abacus first. Their organized and very efficient.

*Stay far away from Abacus Staffing.** This agency is a disgrace and should be avoided at all costs. I was hired through Abacus last year to work as a case manager at the Housing Resource Center in Virginia Beach, and the entire experience was a nightmare. Abacus has no real insight into the work environments they send people into—they just feed workers to contractors without doing their due diligence. Several of us reached out to Ashley at Abacus with serious concerns about the toxic and unsafe environment we were placed in. Instead of advocating for us or addressing the issues, she ran back and told our supervisors who had complained—by name. This only made things worse and created an even more hostile work environment. Abacus Staffing is unprofessional, careless, and completely shameless. They do not support their employees, and they have no regard for your well-being. Please think twice before accepting any assignment

I wanted to echo what a lot of others have said here. Abacus Staffing is a FANTASTIC company that will help you find long term work. I accepted a contract role with the City of Virginia Beach back in April of this year (2024) and now I moved on to be a full time City employee back in September 2024. This is a great place to get your foot in the door if you desire to work for the City of Virginia Beach. The also have friendly staff who will help you find work in the Hampton Roads area. Again, nothing but great things to say about this staffing company, I highly recommend!

The staff here are amazing! I was eager to start work right away; Angela was diligent to make sure I received an interview right away and the next day I interviewed and was offered the opportunity right on the spot! If I didn't go through Abacus I wouldn't have been able to find work so quickly. I have been on my assignment for few weeks now and it has been the most rewarding experience to be able to work in my desired field and serving the community. I highly recommend using Abacus for your employment needs because they are committed to excellence and they offer great client service!
