I just wanted to take a second and say thank you to PGCGlobal, to Rocsearch… to John and Raianne. I was in a really dark spot when they reached out. I’m grateful they did. They started things out with a very quick conversation. Just a simple and determined - “Let me get some things moving. We’ll go from there.” They did… In one of the roughest markets(at least my industry) they landed me an interview with people I had been missing for a while, maybe people I didn’t even know existed. After the interview I got a call asking how it went. “I did my best, I think there were questions I missed.” The only thing I got back was “I’m sure you did better than what you think… let me get some things moving, we’ll go from there.” I landed the contract. Rocsearch continued to call and check in to see if everything was still going smoothly though, they even ironed out mistakes that weren’t theirs nor theirs to fix. Rocsearch consistently took care of not only me, but the agency kind enough to bring me on board. Before I get too long winded, offers came through. (more than one) My contract is slowly coming to an end and they have been just as consistent through and through. I didn’t get the usual “let’s get things rolling” today, instead I got “Congratulations… We’re so happy for you.” Thank yall.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Recruitment Consultant Raianne Gracie earlier today. She was so friendly, personable, and helpful in the recruitment process that I HAD to leave a review. She didn’t ask me to do this, but she left a great impression and I am very excited to continue on my job search with her! If all recruiters were like her, maybe the recruitment industry wouldn’t have such a poor reputation. Roc clearly trains their consultants properly, so I highly recommend this business!

Wish I could rate RocSearch even lower. Recruiter calls me to ask if I am open to new opportunities. Then he proceeds to ask where I live in Austin. I replied that I drove to multiple places in Austin for different jobs. He repeated the questioned. I replied that since he did not want to treat me as an adult, I would not waste my time speaking with him. I also pointed out that multiple other recruiters operate in the Austin market. 2021-05-17 Received another cold call from from Roc Search. I explained to the recruiter how their colleagues treated me previous. The recruiter described a software development with a diverse set of 6-8+ distinct software skills. The recruiter said that in the position the person would mentor junior developers; surprisingly the position only paid $80K-$110K annually - which I am finding is a junior salary. I would be very cautious of working with this company. It looks like the company has no idea what the current market rates are.
