I’ve had to call over six times in one day. Each time the person said it was another offices issue etc. one call said I was breaking up pretty badly and disconnected the call what was the point of asking for a callback number? Basic customer service skills this place lacks. How it’s a government agency is beyond me. I’m attaching a photo of the different numbers I had to push just to get to one agent. Clarence Carter should be ashamed he leads such an unorganized dysfunctional department. When in all actuality DHS is the most important department. It’s suppose to connect families to support services. Bare minimum it’s unable to do that.

Signed in about 15 or 20 minutes ago and they have all the windows with women in the chairs (notice I didn’t say workers) not one person has been called and they are conversations between each other phone use (personal cells).

My stamps were cut off after I sent in everything that was asked of me. I called 2 weeks straight i was on hold for close to 6 hours (on one call) for them to disconnect the call closer to the end of there business day. The next day i was on hold for 3 hours for someone to tell me that the new application that they told me to submit was accepted but they are just waiting for a case worker to be assigned and that could be any day now so stay by the phone. Here we are 2 weeks later no call or anything. Times are truly hard for me and my 3 babies right now and Thanksgiving is 3 days away with no family here to even get food. This is frustrating and so sad. Im just trying to remain positive and trust that God got us

This is the most flawed "human services" I have ever came across. Absolutely embarrassing that this so called system they have is what serves Tennessee residents. I moved here about 8 months ago, and have yet got anyone on the phone for basic questions. I do not go out in public much for personal reasons, I guess that means I'm not entitled to ANY KIND OF SERVICES FROM TDHS. I feel sorry for the next person because I know I'm not the only one! Good luck getting help Tennessee. 2/20/24- update on 3rd application. Appt today at 1:00pm... keep in mind this is the 3rd application and they will without a doubt blame me for their no call no show. I'm blown away. I even took a screenshot of a note with current phone numbers again just to be safe. You would think if I supposedly missed a call, then they've gotten into my file and checked submitted documents. If they have, they would see my screenshot note submitted today at my appt time, but nope I just go without. Today, 2 years later. I NEVER EVEN GOT TI HAVE 1 APPT TO REQUEST SERVICES. I GOT A CALK BACK BY ACCIDENT, THEN I EXPLAINED HOW DIFFICULT A TIME IM HAVING BECAUSE MY NEW NUMBER BLAH BLAH. SHE SAYS, “I’LL HAVE SOMEONE CALK YA BACK.” THATS THE ONLY INTERACTION IN 2 years.

I been otp with them of 3 hrs no answer i havent talk to anybody this place so slow but they be quick to cut somebody off or have them do more than they should this too much they need to get this together Nashville suck i hate it here bad eveything slow and people attitudes are messed up fr this is uncalled for seriously 😒
