My experience with Erin Kullman as the Compliance Investigator for my DLSS wage claim was unacceptable, resulting in the dismissal of my case. Despite providing my signed compensation plan, explaining the legal basis for earned commissions, and clarifying the minimum remaining amount owed after a partial payment, the investigator continuously threatened dismissal for lack of a 'clear, specific' basis for my original claim amount. This was an impossible demand, as the employer had illegally locked me out of their payroll systems and refused to provide the itemized commission records needed for that exact breakdown. Erin completely failed to acknowledge this employer obstruction, placing the entire burden on me and ultimately dismissing the claim on January 26, 2026. This process showed a rigid adherence to procedure over addressing the reality of an employer withholding required documents

Constant "queue is full" on all listed phone numbers, only way to reach unemployment office is by going out of my way to use the local workforce center to call using their phones which some how connect with the exact same contact number. Hire more real people to answer your phones instead of that automated junk.

Terrible service and so poorly operated. I came in last time and was told there was no availability for any walk ins because they were going to lunch at 9:30 am. Today I came in and it is 10:44 am. I have an appointment at this time and the front desk operator allowed others to have a walk in appointment. Seems to be very biased staff and unbelievable wait times. Unreal that this is a government facility and yet I’ve been waiting for any results or feedback for 3 months about my status. So crazy that this is what people have to go through for help in this state. If I could I would give 0 stars.

As you can see by the reviews, this is one of the worst departments ever if you have a problem with your employer and you send them information or file a complaint they will literally send you an email back that they’re not going to look into it. they literally say it doesn’t mean your employer isn’t doing anything wrong. It just means we’re not gonna look. As well as they try to give you a family leave, but don’t protect you in anyway if your employer tries to Fire you This whole program is for some politician that look really good

I can't believe how bad this organization poorly operated. Online system is broke. You can't get anyone on the phone to speak with. Colorado needs to do better. The organization is a 1.4 star on Google. Hello! That means your failing horribly. What's the point of having ratings. When you should make changes based on your reviews. It's obvious they don't care and that mentality is dangerous when it comes to the people in your State.
