I’m going to document my experience every step of the way. This is my first and hopefully last time going through this process. But I’ve already scheduled my appointment for August but I still went up there to talk to an investigator. All of the reviews that I have read so far was bad. Well today I went up there and the lady at the front desk, I’m forgetting her name right now but I’ll have it on my next post, was so kind, polite, respectful, knowledgeable, generous and all of the above. Let me get that out of the way first. But she gave me some important information that I will definitely use. I’ll talk to yall tomorrow…

Horrible.. cannot get a scheduled appointment. People come at 5am in the morning and stand on the corner waiting at the door just to get one of only 3 appointments they give out a day. . instead of scheduling an appointment it's like a bingo game of who can stand outside the longest then even in line people will skip especially if you're disabled or elderly to get in front. Ridiculous you have to do all this just to prove a case

This process has been entirely cumbersome, tedious and archaic. You’re forced to file a charge first but then can’t even get any appointment in the year 2026 either via phone, video or in person. Seriously? Yet there is a statute of limitations and it’s “time sensitive” to file? Also, you’re forced to do the interview first in order to file a charge but then they make scheduling the interview impossible so clearly that is only going to have one effect which is to delay and create barriers to EEOC filings and to create additional disparities towards communities that often have already been mistreated. Clearly the system is broken and needs to be fixed. No reason there is not an available appointment at the Houston location for min of 6 months with no availability listed whatsoever.

Doesn’t state online that they only take 3 people for walk ins so I wasted my time being up there & they told me to schedule a appointment 5 months from now , no investigator was any help

If I couod give 0 I would they cost me my claim I had interview set up 6 months ahead of time then government shutdown the day of my apoinment so the just cancle my claim never reach out after I tried call on Thursday at 3p.m and I get told call during normal hours of 7a.m to I think 6p.m wow what trashy government that does really care about there people
