I do not recommend Luxor Staffing. I recently moved to the Fort Worth, TX area, and my husband and I went in looking for job opportunities. When we arrived, the receptionist (Cassandra) greeted us in a way that came across as unfriendly and somewhat dismissive. The first thing she asked was whether we had applied, but her tone felt a bit passive-aggressive rather than welcoming. We explained that we had already applied online and were told over the phone to come in with two forms of ID to speak with a recruiter. She told us to have a seat, and we were eventually brought to her desk. However, after sitting down, we waited over 10 minutes for her to fully focus on us. During that time, she kept stopping to assist other walk-ins and answer phones, even though there were several other staff members available who could have helped. It made the process feel disorganized and inefficient. After some time, she asked us a few questions that were already on our applications and then had us complete the required steps, including a drug test. About 30 minutes later, she offered us a quality control position. We were given a paper with job details, including pay and location. The paper stated that steel toe boots were required. We told her we didn’t have them yet but would purchase them if we got the job, and she said that would be fine. However, when we showed up for the interview, ready and prepared, we were turned away because we were not wearing steel toe boots. This requirement was never clearly communicated as something we needed to have for the interview itself, which ended up being a complete waste of our time. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and poorly coordinated. Clear communication and better teamwork among staff would have made a big difference.
