Daniel Adams 2 years agoI have been having some issues with my resume not getting through the automated process and so after taking a few online workshops I decided to visit here to see if anyone could help me out. At first it was a process to get to the right part of the building and correct person. I'm here to help you know before you go. So first off there is a few videos attached to the review that will help but basically if you are infront of the main building facing it walk to your right till you see a parking lot then walk through the parking lot and on the left you will see the door marked OHIO Means Jobs. Go through the door and upstairs to the main floor. There is a reception desk and this is where it was a little clunky the first guy told me to go check in on the computer then the second person asked me what I needed and didn't even know I had already checked in on the computer she hooked me up with Nicole. Nicole came out and well told me the truth, my resume for this day and age was no good. She is brilliant and very helpful. I am so glad I went here today. I was told by another I would have to pay $750 to get help with my job inquiries and resume. She explained to me what was the most effective way to take my experience and skills and organize it in a way recruiters would give me interviews. So if you are also lost in the current job market go see Nicole she is absolutely fantastic and the work on my resume will begin soon! If this review helped you at all please mark as helpful and follow me for more reviews around the world.

Don Prysi 5 months agoI recently went to Ohio Means Jobs Columbus-Franklin County when I was let go from my job. They were extremely helpful all the way around. Their resume workshop and hiring events were amazing and helped me land my new role! Thank you OMJ-Columbus.
Alesia 8 months agoI originally started the WIOA process back in July 2025 to get them to pay for training. Filled out the app and sent in DL and SSN, was notified appt was a month out. Ok, so wait the month, was supposed to be a virtual meeting, never received the link, but later that day, email came, requesting fill out about 6-8 pages of info, what kind of training requested, your goals and outcomes, etc. I fill it all out, sent it in, only to be told process takes 4-6 weeks. Long sigh, okay, about two months later, after not hearing anything, I sent email follow up, message I got, Yeah, you're on my list this week to work on your stuff, fill out these two additional forms and return. Another long, frustrated sigh...you're just NOW working on my case two months later??? So, I fill them out, that was three weeks ago, still no word back. So I'm done following up and chasing my tail. Actually found a better program, with a much better response time. Anyone looking for computer certification, check out Merit America. Remote classes thru Coursera, will loan you a computer and offer loan assistance. Sorry OMJ, you guys SUCK!!!
