They will not help you in any way shape or form at any point during the entire process. They NEVER answer the phone and will not call you back, they have no support email address that will contact you and they will do everything in their power at every turn to try and take as much as they are able to from you. They event requested I repay them a higher amount than was paid to me with after they denied my claim almost 4 months after it ended with no suitable evidence and no substantial cause. They will even allow employers to commit perjury during sworn testimony and use that information as fact with no reprocussions.

I got laid off in late September. Did my weekly certification as required. Uploaded all the paperwork I was asked to. Now, in January, my case is STILL "under review" and I can NEVER reach anyone via phone at the office. They're always changing automated "answering" system to say something new, but the part where the robot tells you that they're just too gosh darn busy to answer the phone remains the same. This latest iteration doesn't even work properly; it told me to press 1 if I was a claimant and pressing 1 did literally nothing. I haven't received a single cent. UPDATE 2/10/2026: They FINALLY determined I'm eligible for unemployment LAST MONTH, and I STILL haven't received a single cent and I can't figure out why because there's nothing in either the "correspondence", or "issues and determination" tabs. I'm assuming it's because I've made a measly sum of money through UberEats which I've only been doing precisely BECAUSE they're not paying me my unemployment benefits. So basically they punish you if you don't look for work and they punish you for making any money in the meanwhile. And their automated answering system is still useless.

Thankfully my case was accepted relatively soon when compared to others on here. The payments are quick when automated. But now the claims are two weeks behind for a human to review. It has me wondering what is happening in the office because you can’t get a hold of anyone on the phone, ever. The entire system is outdated and disappointing for 2025. You can’t chat online through the site, you can’t email them about the issue, nothing. You sit, wait and hope the payments will come through before the next bill. Not to mention, the site itself, along with the weekly certification process is poorly designed and unstable. Whoever is in charge of this entire ‘branch’ is definitely overpaid. It’s just about entirely dysfunctional. I was simply hoping to make sure my case was fine, considering the delay.

THE WEBSITE IS RIDICULOUS SWEAR THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO USE IT JUST SO YOU GET FRUSTRATED AFTER THEY LOCK YOU OUT EVERY DAMN TIME YOU TRY TO GET ON THERE I DEFINITELY DON'T MAKE IT EASY TO APPLY FOR UNEMPLOYMENT

How many other companies hang up after you enter your social security number after they ask? Literally hanging up six times after six phone calls. Absolutely ridiculous. I bet if I had an I-tin I would get somebody on the phone a lot faster. A prime example of how ridiculous the state has gotten.
