I would like to sincerely thank Kristin and the entire team at Remedy Intelligent Staffing for helping me make one of the biggest career transitions of my life. After spending more than 22 years working in shipboard operations, I never imagined I would leave my career. My plan was to continue working in the cruise industry for many more years. However, after receiving a call from Kristin and going through the screening process, I realized there was an opportunity that would allow me to use the management experience and leadership skills I had built throughout my career while also giving me something I had been missing—more time at home with my family. Kristin was professional, supportive, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She took the time to understand my background and connected me with an opportunity at KOA Maintenance & Cleaning that has been an excellent fit both professionally and personally. Today, I am able to apply over two decades of management experience in a new industry while continuing to learn and grow as a leader. Most importantly, I get to come home to my family every day instead of being away at sea for months at a time. Not as popular as some of the other staffing agencies on-island so the amount of available work is not as much. Shifts get taken quickly and it's fairly competitive for the better employers. You may not get enough hours to be considered part- or full-time. This agency is better for per diem, on-call, or temp work while you're transitioning professionally. Parking also sucks at their main downtown location.

The team at Remedy is phenomenal. The turn around for when I went in for my interview to when I received a direct hire job offer was about 2.5 weeks. I want to specifically mention Kristin for working very closely with me, keeping me in the loop, and finding an opportunity for me that she herself found would better fit my resume than what I had initially applied for, and my first day at my new job is in 2 weeks. Remedy helped me get the job I have today. The Remedy staff is friendly, helpful, and work to help you find a job. They helped me get interviews to various jobs that I was really interested in and it gave me the experience I need to get hired. I think they’re a great company because they do their best to find a job that suits you best and what you’re looking for in a job. Every encounter I’ve had with their staffing has been comforting, they’re easy to talk to, and super nice. They are also great at communicating with you on job opportunities, get back to you quickly and give you the resources to assist in interviews and what companies are looking for in a worker. Remedy is smart decision in starting your job hunting!

Thanks to Remedy, I'm employed! I was really struggling to find a job when my mom sent me to the Career Fair at the Blaisdell. It was there that I ran into Remedy's booth, and the staff connected with me. They were the first booth that made me feel like I had a chance, and that they were looking out for me. Not even two days later, I got a call. It was Remedy, following up! They asked me to come into the office to interview and figure out what I was looking for and who I was, what I qualified for. It was really quick and everyone was really nice. The ladies were so personable, everyone knowing my name by the end of my time there. They told me they'd set me up with things they thought I'd be of interest of. They did so immediately! I got my first gig working at a bookstore, which was short but gave me some extra cash before I went on a trip. It was perfect. Then they set me up with a company they thought I'd maybe take interest in. It was one I never would've found on my own, but guess what? Now it's home base. I've been working for nearly 6 months and I'm quite happy! It's a relief to say I've found my first full time job -- Thanks, Remedy!
