CAT PALMER 3 months agoI cannot say enough amazing things about Christina. She is at the Career Source Pinellas- South County. She began helping me on Valentine’s Day — February 14, 2025 — I was hopeless, alone and no way of knowing, what's next?! And from that moment forward meeting Christina, my life truly started shifting in the right direction. After facing loosing job because of hurricanes and a rear end collision to follow, hopelessness followed. Because of Chritina's dedication, connections, and genuine care, I am can say today, I am now working toward obtaining my license to become an accountant — something that once felt out of reach going back to school, let alone my safety with having a roof over my head again! Her on going support for me doesn't stop there; she did helped me secure a roof over my head, an e-bike for transportation, a bus pass, and access to resources that have brought stability and hope back into my life. She has so many connections and resources that she makes it impossible with her help and if you put the works behind, you will succeed! Christina is the definition of someone who hustles for her veterans. She goes above and beyond, not just doing her job, but truly advocating, connecting, and fighting for the people she serves at the Career Source Center. You can feel that she genuinely cares — and wants to help make a difference and that does make all the difference! Your not alone, with her help and support! If you ever have the opportunity to work with her, know that you are in the hands of someone who is committed, compassionate, and powerful in what she does. Thank you, Christina, for being a vessel of change and for helping me rebuild and move forward with purpose. 🙏✨ YOU, are a beautiful soul who forever touched mine differently for humanity. She serves an award! For being that human!
Bruce Wayne 5 months agoI came to this CareerSource location to use the computers and apply for jobs, hoping for a professional atmosphere that could support my efforts to improve my life. Instead, what I experienced was complete disorganization and a total lack of respect for the space and the people in it. The noise level is out of control—people yelling across the room, personal phone calls on speaker, and even some of the staff laughing like they’re at a comedy club. I literally felt like I was sitting in the middle of a circus, not a career center. When I asked one of the staff if it’s always like this, she admitted that it is and that people just don’t listen when they’re told to keep it down. This is supposed to be a place to focus, apply for jobs, and make steps toward a better future—but instead, it feels like a free-for-all in the middle of a poverty zone. No structure, no standards, no sense of professionalism. It’s disappointing and honestly pretty demoralizing. If you’re someone trying to take your life seriously and move forward, I recommend finding another location or resource. This place will only drain your energy.
P Daddy 2 months agoBeen trying to get tuition assistance for almost 3 months. Too many hoops to jump through and after you get everything together you literally just wait for an email saying if you get to talk to a career counselor. I’ve called for updates and they tell you to email. I emailed and nothing, No response after multiple try’s. Went into office, they take your name and say they will get on it. Nothing. Just crickets. Usually if a person needs funding for career training they need it now and not 3 months after they are out of work. My advice, If you need WIOA funding don’t go to this office.
Clara Louis 3 months agoI had a great experience at the career source center in Tampa. Not only is the staff friendly and kind but they have people who are willing to help you, if you are looking for help. They have phones, computers, and individuals who will help you build a resume. The staff is very attentive and polite. I especially enjoyed my experience with Miss Surbhi Kshatri. She's the career source Boutique manager.
Nirvanahairtribe Beautysupply 5 months agoCareer Source Tampa Bay sanctioned my snap benefits when I’m homeless and taking medical assistant classes. Per their Able body adult policies I am within their guidelines to still receive benefits. I recently loss temporary housing due to a fire and am severely homeless which I also made them aware of they still sanctioned my benefits with no care or assistance. I want justice this is a crime I followed their protocols and have resources taken away from me at the hardest time in my life.
