Had to deal with some weird old woman called Maybelene Vogue or Revlon Majestic or something like that. Why take a job in public service if you clearly hate talking to people and you really can't be bothered to listen? Asks questions then immediately inturrups over and over. Seems like she actually just hates what she does for a living. There are nice people out there who need jobs. Give hers to one of them.

Not open to public this place needs to shut down and everyone removes so they can feel how most ppl feel when trying to apply for benefits

Seems CA doesn’t care if your identity gets stolen, or whether CA tax paying people receive any benefits when necessary. Literally have called 20 times every day for almost a week, can’t get past the automated message that hangs up on you, with the message saying that maximum number of people on hold has been met. Someone stole my identity, and my notice of computation has unknown people on it, notice says I have 30 days to report inaccuracies on how my benefits were calculated otherwise I’m responsible, however I am not able to contact anyone at CA EDD.

I called EDD and one of their employees was very rude. I asked her name and she refused to give it. Where is the accountability for the employment department employees? Most of them are nice. Unfortunately, all it takes is one unprofessional employee that works for the state, to send a message of total disrespect to cast a pall over the entire company

How in God's name do you not allow anything at all to be sent by email and have a phone system that consistently drops calls when you're busy AND have a telecert phone number that does not allow you to telecert but instead just reconnects me to the same support number that gave me the telecert number to begin with? It is 2025, not 1955, use email and basic hold lines.
