Niambi Long 7 months agoYou know I don't generally complaint publicly I'll speak to someone in charge And then leave it there I don't generally file greivances either Because when the bad behavior poor customer care And aggressive acts in a professional environment is coming from other black people I try to search from within to resolve the issues Because I congratulate silently seeing us working good paying jobs So I value there position sometimes more than they Do But I realize a lot of us get beyond ourselves And create atmospheres inside of said work environments that's only cohesive for those whom our employed there Not someone such as my self who Showed up there one day for the first time And was under attack from not only the workers but the other customers as well So I had to come here while having the chance to leave this review This place had such a negative impact on my experience there I promise I wouldn't return there But just know that it was a collective act bye more than half of those whom worked those two days I visited I will admit leaving there the second day I express this two whom ever was there two listen Because at that point it was so abrasively straight forward of a attack on me that I had to raise my voice to stand up for myself I had never in my entire life experience people working for the city and state premeditative a group effort to come against me in that fashion ever and I've lived everywhere I understand the city is suffering And people are feeling the repercussion of it It's heavy But to pull up the anchor on a sinking ship only contributes to the obvious outcome that will take place if this type of behavior continues to be encouraged bye those in place that jobs are to be encouraging To not allow there personal opinion toward there clients while on the Frontline of poverty looking it right in its face To kick someone while down Instead of being and acting as social services in a non-biased way Is a very low low act to perform These people did not care about the mental effect I had before coming but especially after leaving there You never no how your action toward somebody could impact there lives at that time Social services in my experience has mostly been set in place to be effective Non personable Needs being met are not in a timely fashion No interpersonal contacts toward them are toward the client Non of that happened here
T Bird 7 months agoThe people who work here are so lazy and rude. You have to stand outside no matter if its too cold or hot. They won't give you a ticket until you fill out your packets but they make you get your own packet and if you fill out the wrong thing you just wasted hours of you time just for rude inconsiderate service. If you ask for what packet you should fill out the workers get attitude and become short with you, but if you crash out on them for wasting your time while being rude at the same time they call the security on you for voicing your opinion about them. They talk about people who come in there all day long while doing the bare minimum for civilians in need. Not to mention they always withhold resources for there personal family. I'm never stepping a single foot in this place ever again. This place need to be investigated and shut down for good. Edit: I waisted over 4 hours in this place just to told I filled out the wrong packets. I left and just decided to go to a different center. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE....
Tatyaina 7 months agoWorker never returns calls, left voicemail for supervisor who also never returned my call. So I went up there waited three hours just to be told that it’s after closing and to come back another day because they weren’t call people back anymore. Turned in paperwork again because apparently the drop box isn’t a good way to turn in paperwork. Now still waiting for a call back regarding my case.
Brenda Gallardo a month agoMs.Mauga is a really nice person and really helpful with me for all the programs I could get the help I need it she was really nice with me
Kristen Hart 10 months ago13 days to get emergency 3 day assistance! Nice work guys! The case worker during my phone interview said " oh I see you need a new ebt card, would you like it mailed to you or pick up here at the office.". I said I'll pick it up at the office. Finally got approved today. Went to get my card at the office, and, bug surprise here, there wasn't one and I would have to wait 3 days to get one. Why would you say that and then not order me one!?!? These people are infuriating.... So I now have benefits, with no way to access them. Bravo Alameda county.
