GO INSIDE. DONT bother calling. When you go to the sixth floor they will ask you to scan a QR code. That will be your place in line. Wait time was around 3 hours as I was #77 There is NO waiting rooms. I reccomend to go in the morning scan the QR go home or run errands. Once I was #20 in line I made sure to be outside of the building to not miss the appt. You'll get a text saying to go the lobby. Then you will be seen. It takes a while but it was worth it!

The people really need to get together and sue these people. They use stall tactics to slow down the process of paying people. Pretty sure that is illegal. I am starting by going to the congress/senator rep office and complaining. This is our right to live and feed our kids. Not our problem that the billions we pay in taxes aren’t enough for you to hire ENOUGH people to cover your calls and serve the people in need of helping. This is utter BS! Not even 3rd world countries work like that

The CA. EDD is a JOKE! Californians are forced to pay into SDI every paycheck & when they need it, you do the online application and EDD denies the claim. Then has you fill out this form or that form, and after waiting they send you a call in notice. IF you get a live person after 4 hrs., of calling, they tell you to call back another day. After you call back, they tell you your claims denied, THEN send you the same forms you already filled out, just to ask you if you've returned to work, so then you have to wait longer again. Their website is filled with false, inaccurate nonsense to make it appear that it's so EASY to apply, then get your benefits you paid for. Reality and their EDD Website, do not mix.

Not helpful, It is my 3rd time going there every time They tell me something, They told me to put my phone number so I can get a call back. I got a call back and on the phone. They told me to visit the nearest Disability center. I went today at 12 they told me you have to cone here before they open so they can help me the same day and last time the other guy inside told me we can fix it fast everytime they say something different plus ( the security guy outside he should have some patience and a smile on his face) and be nice with people

I waited 4 hours to reach the window for the girl to tell me they “reached capacity” and will call me tomorrow and wrote down my name and my number. No explanation whatsoever. When I told her how long I waited all she said was "oh! & will call you tomorrow" That’s BS!!!! Mind you it’s only 2:30pm they close at 5 pm
