I was excited to work with PeopleReady through JobStack and took the time to go in for onboarding, including a drug test and background check. I asked questions to make sure I was prepared — including asking if I needed two forms of ID. I was told “just your driver’s license” but then was asked for my Social security card later. I mentioned several times that I was with another PeopleReady branch, & the manager at 1510 (N Crystal) continued to insist I drive all the way back home for my Social. So, I say, “Can you search the system for my documents.” She acted as if it was “luck” when we both knew it would be in the system, because she already asked if it was within the “last 3 years.” When I followed up about the job, and how the background cleared but the drug test is “pending”- I was given vague answers, told “it shows on our end.” Then she decides to finally mention “the job is full” — after I already completed the requirements. It felt like I was being passed around with no accountability, and I ended up wasting my time. What is the point of me doing all of this if “that job hires the same people.” I needed this job to get ahead and save for a vehicle, and I took it seriously. I can’t say I felt that was respected by the staff. If you’re going to work with them, double-check everything they tell you and protect your own time. I will update if I have any issues receiving my 6 hours of pay, for the one and only shift I could get using JobStack. It must be nice for the handful of people in rotation, they sure as hell don’t help anyone else actively get jobs. UPDATE: I received my check five days late and filed with the labor commissioners after 72 hours. I am still waiting for my wait time penalty by California labor code 203.

I love this company! I love how I can get paid within a day , or the following day or so. Way better than waiting two weeks. Great service, Great great employees & boss 😀 money comes in clutch when you need it fast !!!I don't know why people put bad reviews I personally haven't had any problems at all. To me they are the best office in Fresno. Awesome company!!! 😀 10/10

Great communication they actually care and have passion behind what their Doin with helping the fresno community find work and keeping you paid all you gotta do is apply your self and they will do the rest !!!
